Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Giga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bucky Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giga throws a predictable looking body shot
and Barnes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Giga has his takedown stuffed
and Barnes counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Chad Giga has been cut.
Barnes cracks Giga with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Giga looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Barnes finish him?
Giga is rocked!
Barnes circles away from the clinch attempt
and Barnes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oh Giga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnes knocks out Giga with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Barnes before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Barnes picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bucky Barnes!
Bucky Barnes decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
