Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Revell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Alistair´s Entrance. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Revell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Overeem to the mat! Overeem manages to get full guard. Overeem looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Revell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Revell should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Overeem working for submissions but it's allowed Revell to get to half guard.
Revell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Overeem is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Revell pulls his head out easily. Overeem trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Revell lands a nice short elbow. Revell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Revell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Revell stops Overeem from getting back to his feet.
Revell moves into full mount! Overeem won't be happy about that! Revell controlling from mount. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Revell has eaten all the pies! Revell is landing with some decent strikes but Overeem is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
It looks like Alistair Overeem has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Revell is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Overeem can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Revell sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Overeem has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Revell slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Overeem turns into Revell and is now in his guard.
Overeem wanted to stand there but Revell had control of the position. Overeem trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Revell looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Overeem drops back, looking for a kneebar! Revell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Revell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Revell! Overeem is breathing heavily. Revell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Revell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Overeem is trying to control Revell's posture but Revell avoids it. Overeem is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Revell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Overeem down.
The referee asks Revell politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Revell prefers to stall for the moment though. Overeem is trying to improve his position. Overeem throws Revell to one side and escapes! Overeem tries to clinch up but Revell circles away and keeps his distance. Revell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Revell is keen to just control but Overeem is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Revell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alistair Overeem's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Overeem doesn't succeed with the takedown and Revell counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Overeem! Kenny Revell has got the better of the ground game so far. Overeem is wriggling around trying to escape.
Revell controlling the position easily from mount. Revell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Revell scoring with strikes but Overeem is staying in there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Overeem is squirming around, avoiding Revell's attempts to control the action. Revell is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Overeem is desperately trying to improve his position but Revell has a good base and remains in mount. Revell putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Overeem tries to hold on but Revell postures up. Overeem is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Revell wants to control the pace but Overeem is squirming around nicely. Overeem is desperately trying to improve his position but Revell has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Revell controlling his opponent. Overeem looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Revell softening up his opponent with strikes here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kenny Revell just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Overeem throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Overeem clinches but Revell breaks the clinch and Revell counters by moving into the clinch. Overeem fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Overeem crunches a lovely knee into Revell's ribcage. Overeem looking to slow down the pace here. Overeem drags the fight down to the ground.

Overeem looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Revell is defending well. Overeem quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Revell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Overeem celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
