Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braden Moore (ranked 3780 p4p, 22718 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braden Moore could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Anthony Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Braden Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Moore sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Johnson scores with a jab. Moore acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Moore fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Moore is now in Johnson's guard.
Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Moore stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Moore moves away from the strike by Johnson.
Moore was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Moore throws the kick towards the body but Johnson avoids it.
Johnson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Johnson dives in and grabs Moore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.
Moore throws out a leg kick but Johnson moves out of range and Moore only half commits.
Johnson unleashes a big counter combination but Moore bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moore wants it to stay on the feet.
Moore attempts a counter takedown but Johnson avoids it well and moves away.
Braden Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Johnson.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side.

Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moore walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Moore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Moore thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Johnson pushes Moore off looking to stand but Moore dives back in and keeps control.

Moore is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore moves nicely into side control.
Moore misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore controls the position.
Moore's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Moore thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Moore takes a little break here. Johnson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Johnson is looking for a sweep.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Moore.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Johnson wants to control but Moore postures up.
Moore controls the position from side control.
Further stalling from Moore.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson parries the strikes from Moore easily there. Moore is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johnson to escape.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Johnson parries the strikes from Moore easily there. Moore is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johnson to escape.
Moore tries to move into full mount but can't pass Johnson's legs.
Johnson is looking to reverse the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Moore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Moore gets the takedown into side control.

Moore is trying to get an arm triangle but Johnson is defending well.
Moore controls the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Braden Moore dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Johnson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Johnson throws out a powerful jab.
Moore misses the shot to the body.
Johnson closes the distance but Moore moves to the side
and Moore counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Moore to acknowledge the strikes.
Moore looks to land a combination. Johnson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Anthony Johnson has been cut.
Moore showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.

Moore appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Moore rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moore's waist but Moore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Braden Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Johnson.
Johnson is breathing heavily.

Moore feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Johnson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Moore dives into side control.

Moore has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Braden Moore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Moore eats them both and turns towards Johnson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moore counters with a nice uppercut.

Moore closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnson tries to land a knee to the head but Moore blocks with his arms.
Come on Moore - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Moore tightens his grip and picks Johnson up, before dumping him to the ground. Johnson manages to land in guard.
Johnson is wriggling around but Moore manages to pass to half guard.
Moore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.


Moore decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Moore fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Moore is now in Johnson's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moore is looking to work some ground and pound but Johnson has wrist control.

Moore gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Moore manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johnson on his heels. He'll look to pass Johnson's guard now, I'm sure.
Moore's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Moore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Johnson's guard.

Moore is trying for a kimura here. Johnson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Moore wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Braden Moore!
In defeat, Anthony Johnson stepped up to the mic, saying 'he fought better then i did'.
