Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Kohler (ranked 1170 p4p, 1671 weight class) and Svend Thorsby (ranked 36 p4p, 38 weight class). Svend Thorsby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Svend Thorsby!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorsby connects with a leg kick.
Kohler forces Thorsby back against the cage and clinches.
Kohler wants to take the fight to the mat but Thorsby manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kohler is on top in guard.

Kohler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kohler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kohler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Thorsby lands a jab to Kohler's midsection.
Thorsby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thorsby cracks Kohler with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kohler is rocked!
Kohler is aggressively charging in as Thorsby backs up avoiding any damage. Thorsby tosses out a jab and Kohler runs right into it face first! Kohler is out cold! Thorsby dropped down on all fours and is barking in Kohler's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Svend Thorsby!
