Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Purple Aki (ranked 1453 p4p, 2956 weight class) and David Snake (ranked 185 p4p, 322 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Purple Aki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Snake!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Snake.
A chopping leg kick lands by Snake.
Aki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Aki shoots in for a double leg but Snake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aki misses with a takedown attempt - Snake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Purple Aki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Snake defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aki is trying hard to land a takedown here. Snake sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Snake looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Snake misses with a leg kick.
Aki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snake's waist but Snake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aki off to one side.
Aki fails with the takedown
and Snake counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Snake.
Aki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Aki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snake to the mat! Snake manages to get full guard.
Aki works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Aki has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Aki raining down hammerfists from mount.
Aki lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snake trying desperately to get to his feet.
Aki landing strikes from the mount.
Aki postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Snake in real trouble here! The ref calls for Snake to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Purple Aki!
During a confident post fight interview, Purple Aki thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
