PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tenacity Tshabalala (ranked 2429 p4p, 1535 weight class) and Wang Chung (ranked 328 p4p, 220 weight class). Chung is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everybody Wang Chung Tonight. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung tries to score with a low kick but Tshabalala moves his leg out of the way.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tshabalala enables Chung to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tshabalala manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Chung won't allow Tshabalala to sweep him here.
Chung slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Tshabalala looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Chung! Submission of the night perhaps?
