Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Chugman (ranked 1595 p4p, 2168 weight class) and Roman Ship (ranked 37 p4p, 75 weight class). Roman Ship is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ship! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ship on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ship misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chugman.
Ship throws a body shot but no joy. A head kick misses from Ship. Chugman avoids the head kick by Ship.
Ship throws a sloppy head kick and Chugman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ship actively working from the bottom here. Chugman trying to pass the guard but Ship defending well. Ship has a hand on Chugman's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Chugman takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Chugman breaks from Ship's wrist control and lands an elbow. Chugman wants to control the pace but Ship is squirming around nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chugman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's one minute gone in the round. Chugman is landing with some decent strikes but Ship is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Chugman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ship looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Chugman. BOOM! Chugman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Chugman scoring with strikes but Ship is staying in there. We've been hearing that Chugman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Chugman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ship's face.

Ship sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chugman trying to pass the guard but Ship defending well. Chugman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chugman is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ship! Chugman trying to control but he's not successful this time. Chugman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ship is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chugman looking to control and managing it successfully. Ship is looking to get to half guard. Ship taking shots to the head. Chugman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ship is on top in guard.
Chugman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Chugman is looking for submissions but instead, Ship has regained full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ship is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chugman defends well. Chugman looking to sit in guard and control but Ship gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ship is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chugman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chugman has escaped and now he's on top! Chugman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Klaus Chugman dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ship dives in for a single leg takedown but Chugman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A jab from Ship finds it's way through Chugman's defenses. Chugman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Chugman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ship tries to buck Chugman off but Chugman is having none of it. Chugman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ship has escaped the position, nice work there. Chugman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ship can do to turn this around? Ship gets back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ship is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chugman pulls his head out easily.

Chugman tries to move to full mount but Ship actually manages to regain half guard. Chugman scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ship actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chugman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ship keeps working. Ship is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chugman is keen to just control but Ship is a slippery customer. Ship is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chugman pulls his head out easily. Ship looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ship looking for subs from the bottom but Chugman mounts him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chugman scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Chugman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ship can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Chugman wants to control the pace but Ship is squirming around nicely. Ship tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chugman with the ground and pound from mount. Chugman looking to control but Ship is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Klaus Chugman dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Chugman throws a big shot that misses. Nice sprawl there from Ship as Chugman shoots in. Chugman shoots for a double leg takedown but Ship sprawls well. He's pushed Chugman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ship shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chugman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Chugman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ship gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ship got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chugman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ship has managed to get both his arms back between Chugman's legs - danger averted. Ship stopping the sweep attempt from Chugman. Ship pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chugman is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship has gone for a leg lock! Chugman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ship's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ship keeping moving, preventing Chugman from controlling successfully. Chugman wants to pass the guard but Ship is keeping the position. Chugman content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ship has locked up a guillotine! Ship's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Chugman is holding on here and Ship must be using up a lot of energy. Chugman has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ship gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
