The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Nickal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Nickal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turturro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I've been told that Turturro has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Turturro is looking for the choke from the back position but Nickal is controlling his hands well.
Turturro is not going to allow Nickal to sit and survive in this position.

Turturro is looking for a choke. Nickal gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Nickal manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Nickal not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Turturro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nickal defends well.

Turturro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Nickal is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Turturro has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nickal is looking to defend but Turturro has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nickal! Turturro pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nickal taps out and this one is all over!
