And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manners tests Robinson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Robinson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Robinson just misses with a punch to the body.
Manners shoots in looking for a takedown but Robinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manners's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Manners has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Manners throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Robinson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Manners connects with a good right hand that stumbles Robinson. Robinson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Manners throws an overhand right that lands on Robinson's shoulder, as Robinson tries to avoid the shot.
Robinson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Robinson drops his hands momentarily and Manners takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Manners closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Manners lands in his opponent's guard.

Manners gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Manners fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Robinson on the side of the head.
Manners scores with a decent looking hook.

Manners shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Manners keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
CJ Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Manners.
A looping hook to the body misses from Manners. Robinson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Robinson throws a quick counter head kick but Manners was just out of range.
Robinson throws a right and a left that Manners avoids nicely.

Matt Manners seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Manners. That snapped Robinson's head back.

It looked like Robinson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Manners throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manners off to one side.

Manners has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Manners takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Robinson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Manners's head.
