Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stick Figure Dos (ranked 4706 p4p, 3844 weight class) and Dominick Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen Face The Pain as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dominick Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Figure Dos sprawls well. He's pushed Cruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cruz has closed the distance and engaged Figure Dos in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Figure Dos.
Cruz is trying to drag Figure Dos to the mat but Figure Dos just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Figure Dos presses Cruz against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Figure Dos lands a right hand.
Cruz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Figure Dos to keep the fight standing.
Stick Figure Dos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominick Cruz.

Figure Dos lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cruz backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Figure Dos.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cruz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Figure Dos throws a big uppercut that drops Cruz! More strikes from Figure Dos and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Cruz lies dazed against the cage as Figure Dos celebrates with his cornermen!
