The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lait will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lait tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anderson defends well and Lait ends up having to push Anderson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Anderson misses with a double jab

and Lait counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Anderson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
A punch lands to the side of Lait 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lait is looking to score with low kicks.
Anderson scores with a hook to the body. Lait takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Lait sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lait throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely.
A quick step to the side and Anderson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lait throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lait off to one side.
Brownie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jhonny Lait.
Anderson works the jab nicely.
Lait takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lait.
Anderson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Lait gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Anderson lands a jab to Lait's midsection.

Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lait doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Anderson cracks Lait with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lait is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Lait slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Anderson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Anderson scores with a jab to the body.
Are you kidding me?! Anderson ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Lait clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
