Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giggle Valentine (ranked 1362 p4p, 6873 weight class) and Big Mouth (ranked 75 p4p, 311 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mouth's choice of entrance music: Dominick . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Mouth!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouth shoots in for a double leg but Valentine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Mouth shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mouth postures up in Valentine's guard and throws a big left but Valentine blocks it.
Valentine has his hands on Mouth's head, controlling the position.
Mouth pushing down on Valentine's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Mouth sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Valentine defending well though.
Mouth not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mouth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mouth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mouth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Valentine moves into full guard.
Valentine seems keen to control Mouth's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valentine has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mouth pushes down on Valentine's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Valentine is controlling Mouth's trapped leg to prevent Mouth from advancing to side control.

Mouth with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Valentine sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Valentine pulls Mouth in close to prevent any damage.
Mouth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Valentine works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mouth tries to free his leg and advance position but Valentine is retaining full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mouth shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valentine as he avoids it easily.
It looked like Valentine wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Giggle Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Mouth.

Big Mouth was interviewed post fight and said 'A big thanks on Odense MMA - Fight Or Die for the offer to fight here tonight, I'll back much better as tonight, sorry, but tonight my opponent was better as myself. I will come back to do better as tonight !'.
