Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mono Loco (ranked 1334 p4p, 3502 weight class) and Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 152 p4p, 341 weight class). Karsten Koererlaerer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mono Loco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karsten Koererlaerer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Koererlaerer's guard. Koererlaerer looking to control.
Loco sitting in guard, not really doing much. Koererlaerer is looking to stand up but Loco isn't so interested in that idea. Loco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Koererlaerer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loco's corner is telling him to maintain position. Loco pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Koererlaerer is keeping the position for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loco fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Loco gets caught flat footed, as Koererlaerer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Loco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Loco is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Loco keeping moving, preventing Koererlaerer from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koererlaerer cracks Loco with a solid left hand. Koererlaerer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Koererlaerer scoring with punches to the head and body. Koererlaerer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Koererlaerer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Koererlaerer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco looking for a sweep. Not yet Loco, not yet. Koererlaerer is sitting in close to Loco's body. Loco has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Koererlaerer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Koererlaerer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Loco.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mono Loco! During a confident post fight interview, Mono Loco thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
