Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masada The Zealot (ranked 4442 p4p, 4023 weight class) and Kevin Cool (ranked 465 p4p, 430 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
The Zealot finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Masada The Zealot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Zealot throws a chopping leg kick but Cool manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The Zealot pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cool shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The Zealot lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The Zealot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cool has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Zealot has managed to get both his arms back between Cool's legs - danger averted.

Cool is looking for a triangle but The Zealot pushes his legs off easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cool throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! The Zealot escapes and throws Cool's legs to the side, diving into side control!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The Zealot stands up.
The Zealot throws a right and a left that Cool avoids nicely.
Cool counters with a body kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Cool checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
The Zealot throws a shot from downtown. Cool moves away and avoids it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The Zealot throws a head kick but Cool moves out of range.
The Zealot does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cool is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
The Zealot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cool looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cool's hands are dropping dangerously low here and The Zealot connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cool scrambles back to his feet.
The Zealot's corner calls for a 1-2. The Zealot obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

We've been informed that Cool has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Zealot, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
