Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rohith Sharma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aapo Jukola!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukola tries to bum rush Sharma with a series of wild strikes but Sharma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sharma throws a body shot but no joy.
Jukola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Sharma counters with a stiff right hand.
Sharma avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sharma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jukola was well out of range. Poor timing from Sharma.
Jukola drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jukola displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sharma throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sharma throws an overhand right that lands on Jukola's shoulder, as Jukola tries to avoid the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jukola, as that shot connected.
Jukola throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sharma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sharma thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sharma drops his hands momentarily and Jukola takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Sharma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jukola was well out of range. Poor timing from Sharma.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jukola throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Sharma swings widly with a right hand
and Jukola counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jukola misses the jab.
Sharma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jukola scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jukola cracks Sharma with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sharma is rocked!
Jukola swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Sharma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jukola lands a hook that stumbles Sharma back into the cage. Jukola follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Sharma to the canvas! Jukola pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Sharma has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Aapo Jukola!
After winning the bout, Aapo Jukola thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
