Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marwin Mueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Carpenter!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mueller was covering up waiting for the punch and Carpenter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Carpenter wants to pass the guard but Mueller is keeping the position.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

Carpenter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Carpenter stalks Mueller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mueller's face. Mueller staggers backwards, shaken.
Carpenter has Mueller up against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mueller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Carpenter.

We've been hearing that Mueller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Our spies down at at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter inform us that Carpenter has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
