Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wild One!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, harri loponen!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from One.
loponen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
One moves into the clinch.
loponen being controlled against the cage.
loponen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
loponen drops down looking for an ankle pick but One pulls his leg out and moves away.
One fails to land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One swinging wilding here.
One misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
loponen shoots for a takedown but One saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wild One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of harri loponen.
One feints and as loponen raises his hands in defense, One changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
One passes loponen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
One lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
One takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
One seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down loponen for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
One works his way into side control.
One is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt loponen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
loponen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
One has knee on belly and moves into mount.
One raining down shots from the mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wild One dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
One closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming loponen to the mat! loponen manages to get full guard.
One thows a big elbow that misses.
One sitting in guard, not really doing much.
loponen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Wild One just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
One scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
One taking a breather here.
One landing a few strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here as One stalls from top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
One's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
One has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
One pushes loponen up against the cage in a clinch.
One turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
One stands up and beckons loponen to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
One jumps guard and drags loponen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now One is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
One controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
loponen is working an open guard so One takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
One shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with loponen but loponen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
loponen avoids the body shot from One.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wild One dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
One looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Still in half guard, One seems content to control.
One looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks loponen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
One content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
loponen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
One throwing shots but loponen is blocking nicely.
One is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
One content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Wild One just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
One changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. loponen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
One looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
One is putting a hurting on loponen here, landing some big shots from side control.

One decides to stand back up. One steps back and let's loponen get back to his feet.
One fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. loponen sprawls well initially but One persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
loponen trying to get back to full guard but One takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
harri loponen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wild One is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
One working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. loponen looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by One! Submission of the night perhaps?
