Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 24577 p4p, 6681 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fighter A did well to prevent Fighter B getting side control. Fighter B stops Fighter A from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall. Fighter A is trying to stand up here but Fighter B is controlling him well. Fighter B is taking a breather. Fighter A says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Fighter B fails with the takedown and Fighter A counters with a right hand to the body. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter B manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter A's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter B lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to get back to full guard. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall. Fighter A is trying to stand up here but Fighter B is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's trapped leg to prevent Fighter B from advancing to side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter B's waist but Fighter B gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter A off to one side. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Fighter A goes for a double leg but Fighter B avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter B continues to drive forward. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B prevents Fighter A from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A is looking to break free of the clinch but Fighter B has double underhooks. Fighter B keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fighter A's efforts to push away. Fighter B pulls guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter B as he avoids it easily. Fighter B shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter A pinned against the cage. Fighter A gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter B is fending him off so far but Fighter A persists. Nope, Fighter B circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter B throws a counter combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter A fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter B stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter B wants it to stay on the feet. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fighter B crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fighter A - the referee stops the clock and Fighter B gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fighter A. Fighter B manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fighter A scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fighter B throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B leaves Fighter A with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B circles away easily and Fighter B counters with a big head kick but Fighter A shrugs it off. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fighter B was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is letting Fighter B control him for a moment. Fighter A dodges the ground and pound from Fighter B. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is looking for a sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Fighter B drives through with a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fighter A is working an open guard so Fighter B takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A fails to land the takedown. Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter A darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter B gets double underhooks and turns Fighter A into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Fighter A's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fighter A can't break the clinch.
Fighter B manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter B stops Fighter A from getting back to his feet.
Fighter B keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fighter A is trying to stand up here but Fighter B is controlling him well. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter B stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter B wants it to stay on the feet. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter B takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fighter B shoots in for a double leg but Fighter A sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fighter B closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
