These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury's corner calls for a 1-2. Fury obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Muto Ryuuji has been cut.
Ryuuji scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fury on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ryuuji. Ryuuji obviously looking to wear him down.
We've been told by Ryuuji's head coaches at Certiﬁed Cave Gang that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ryuuji throws a jab when Fury was well out of range.
Fury misses with a right hand

Ryuuji moves out of range as Fury strikes.
A slow jab from Fury misses its intended target.
Fury misses with a shot to the body
and Ryuuji connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fighters circling - Ryuuji throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ryuuji takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fury looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Fury lands a big right hand that sends Ryuuji crashing to the mat! Fury stays standing though and waves Ryuuji back to his feet!

Fury is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryuuji.
Fury slips under a jab.
It seemed like Fury was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ryuuji moves out of range of the strikes.
Fury has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ryuuji.
Ryuuji avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ryuuji throws a lazy right hand but Fury sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fury throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ryuuji takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ryuuji scores with a nice body kick.
Fury lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ryuuji is looking to close the distance but Fury sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ryuuji crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ryuuji is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
