Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dalton (ranked 2271 p4p, 1449 weight class) and Robbie Hall (ranked 136 p4p, 81 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darren Dalton! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robbie Hall! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Dalton does no damage. Dalton throws a head kick that misses. Dalton throws a series of punches but Hall moves out of range. Dalton looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range. Dalton lands with a right hand. Dalton throws a sloppy head kick and Hall counters by moving into the clinch. Hall jumps into guard, dragging Dalton to the mat.
Dalton works a leg free and moves into half guard. Dalton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dalton. Hall is controlling Dalton's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall is staying active underneath Dalton, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dalton wants to work for an arm triangle but Hall is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dalton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hall controlling the position well. Hall is looking to control Dalton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hall avoid being mounted? Dalton moves into full mount! Hall won't be happy about that! Hall regains half guard. Dalton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hall gets back to full guard.
Dalton slips nicely into half guard. Hall wants to get back to full guard. Hall manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalton tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hall is on top in guard.
Dalton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hall passes Dalton's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton wants to get back to full guard. Dalton wants to get back to full guard but Hall has passed into side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hall wants to control but Dalton is keeping him busy. Dalton tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Darren Dalton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Dalton throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Dalton sets himself, and Hall steps forward looking for the clinch! Dalton avoids it this time. Dalton missing with a left hand there. Hall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hall feints the counter takedown. Hall clinches up with Dalton and pushes him back against the cage. Hall is pushing Dalton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Dalton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Dalton has a couple of punches blocked by Hall.

Hall misses with a short punch on the inside. Hall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dalton uses from the top position. Hall trying to control the position.

Dalton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hall has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall preventing the sweep. Robbie Hall has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dalton is trying to keep Hall in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dalton has given up his back. Will we see Hall going for some submissions?
Dalton trying to control the position but Hall manages to sink in the hooks. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Hall is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dalton defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Robbie Hall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Dalton misses with a straight right. A head kick misses from Dalton. Hall tries to counter by closing the distance. Hall has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dalton throws a sloppy head kick and Hall moves out of range easily. Hall tries to counter with a clinch but Dalton shakes him off and moves away. Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dalton, pushing him back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Hall creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dalton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hall drags the fight down to the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dalton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hall knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dalton takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Dalton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hall wants to control but Dalton is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dalton trying to pass the guard but Hall defending well.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hall closes the distance and pushes Dalton back into the cage. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Dalton frees his head nicely. Oh but Hall has switched to an armbar! Dalton is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
