Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Isle (ranked 2195 p4p, 5730 weight class) and Arnusto Werhooven (ranked 304 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Thomas Isle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Isle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arnusto Werhooven!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isle swings for the body but Werhooven moves out of range.
Werhooven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Isle.
Werhooven looks to throw the jab but Isle is out of range.
A quick step to the side and Isle tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Isle looks to throw the jab but Werhooven is out of range.
Werhooven looks to land a left hand but Isle moved out of range nicely.
Werhooven swings widly with a right hand
and Isle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Isle fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Isle swings for the body but Werhooven moves out of range.
Werhooven fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Isle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Isle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Werhooven punishes Isle's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Isle. Werhooven does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Werhooven! But no joy.

Werhooven takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Arnusto Werhooven has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Isle throws a series of punches but Werhooven avoids them all with ease.
Isle misses the jab.
Isle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice shot lands for Isle.

Thomas Isle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Isle ducks under a wild hook from Werhooven.
It looked like Isle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Werhooven slips a jab from Isle.
A jab from Isle finds it's way through Werhooven's defenses.
Isle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Isle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Isle there as he acknowledges the shot.

Werhooven defending well as Isle loads up on a big left hand.
Isle throws a jab but it's blocked by Werhooven.
Isle throws a shot from downtown. Werhooven moves away and avoids it.
Isle scores with a hook.
Isle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Isle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Werhooven's hands.
Isle throws a big shot that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Isle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Werhooven tries a quick counter leg kick but Isle is wise to it.

Isle throws a lazy uppercut
and Werhooven counters with a nice uppercut.
Isle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Isle, as that shot connected.
Isle checks the leg kick.
Isle connects with a jab.
Werhooven slips under a jab.
Isle connects with a body shot.
Isle thows a left - swing and a miss!
Isle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Isle tests Werhooven's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Werhooven uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Isle.

Isle drops Werhooven with a beautiful combination! Werhooven stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Isle is looking for the KO!
A jab from Isle does it's job there.

Isle drops Werhooven with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Werhooven looks back up at him and smiles so Isle waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Werhooven is rocked!
Isle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Werhooven circles away quickly and effectively.
Isle backing away here, and Werhooven unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Isle walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Werhooven drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Isle swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Werhooven's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Isle!
After winning the bout, Thomas Isle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
