Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Bell (ranked 4399 p4p, 4391 weight class) and Aiko Inhanamoto (ranked 254 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harrison Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aiko Inhanamoto!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inhanamoto as he jumps to the side.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Inhanamoto! But no joy.
Bell throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Inhanamoto counters with a straight right hand.
Inhanamoto dodges the punch combination from Bell.
Bell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Inhanamoto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bell tries for a takedown but Inhanamoto circles away easily
and Inhanamoto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrison Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inhanamoto misses the shot to the body.
Bell doesn't manage to clinch there - Inhanamoto circles away.
It seemed like Inhanamoto was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Inhanamoto just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bell throws a half hearted mid kick.
Inhanamoto throws out a counter right but Bell avoids it with no problem.

Bell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inhanamoto did well to prevent Bell getting side control.
Bell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Inhanamoto's head.
Inhanamoto wants to control but Bell is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Inhanamoto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bell.
Bell lands strikes from half guard.
Bell stalling.
Bell tries to stand but can't do so whilst Inhanamoto controls his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bell with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Bell seems to be looking for submissions.
Bell controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inhanamoto as he jumps to the side.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bell tries for a takedown but Inhanamoto circles away easily
and Inhanamoto counters with a nice uppercut.
Bell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Inhanamoto.
Bell with the inside leg kick.
Bell throws a hook but Inhanamoto avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Inhanamoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A jab from Inhanamoto does it's job there.
Inhanamoto is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheers as Inhanamoto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bell doesn't seem phased though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Inhanamoto gets tackled into the cage by Bell. Bell maintains the clinch.
Inhanamoto working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bell drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Inhanamoto gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Inhanamoto throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bell is breathing heavily.
Bell can't break the clinch.
Bell is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Inhanamoto to keep the fight standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Inhanamoto lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Inhanamoto lands with a light punch inside.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bell is trying to force a seperation but Inhanamoto has the dominant position.

Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bell tries to clinch up
and Inhanamoto scores with a counter punch that sends Bell to the canvas! Inhanamoto smells blood - he's punishing Bell with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bell has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aiko Inhanamoto!
