Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaia Ky Jr (ranked 3566 p4p, 1223 weight class) and Tico Tico (ranked 182 p4p, 70 weight class). Ky Jr comes to the ring accompanied by Come Out Ye Black And Tan. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tico's choice of entrance music: Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tico is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Tico thows a body kick. Ky Jr tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Ky Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tico seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

My spies in IMMA Gym of Elite ASS inform me that Tico has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ky Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Tico tries to sprawl out of it but Ky Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Tico manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tico Tico decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
