Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Wilson (ranked 2301 p4p, 2540 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 296 p4p, 323 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Under the knife. Shape Shifter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shifter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Shifter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Shifter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Shifter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wilson is keen to just control but Shifter is a slippery customer.
Shifter is trying to get back to full guard.
Wilson trying to control from half guard but Shifter is working away.
Wilson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shifter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Wilson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Shifter is not content to let Wilson control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson lands strikes from half guard.
Wilson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shifter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Wilson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shifter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Shifter tries to get to full guard but Wilson has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shifter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Shifter.
Shifter is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Wilson frees his head nicely. Oh but Shifter has switched to an armbar! Wilson is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
