Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Hung Dong (ranked 345 p4p, 626 weight class) and Chad Smith (ranked 56 p4p, 92 weight class). Long Hung Dong is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Smith!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dong.
Dong throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dong, as that shot connected.
Dong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smith doesn't seem bothered though.
Dong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dong.
Dong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Smith is looking to clinch but Dong is avoiding it.
A jab from Smith misses.
Dong is looking to counter punch.

Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Dong blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Smith is leaning against Dong and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Smith struggles to land a body shot inside as Dong controls his hands.
Smith can't find room to land a body shot as Dong controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dong blocks a punch to the side of the head.
I was talking to Dong's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Smith lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith is trying to maintain a safe position but Dong gets an underhook and turns Smith into the cage.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dong misses with a body punch.
Dong lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dong throws out a leg kick but Smith moves out of range and Dong only half commits.
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Smith takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Smith has managed to clinch.
Dong throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dong lands a right hand.
Still in the clinch, Smith scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dong prevents a body shot from Smith.
Smith is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dong is keeping busy.
Smith throws a head punch that misses.
Dong misses with a punch on the inside.

Dong decides to pull guard.
Smith won't allow Dong to sweep him here.

Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Dong's legs - danger averted.
Dong keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.

Dong looking for a guillotine here but Smith defends easily.

Dong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dong looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Smith is defending well. Dong quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Smith has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dong celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
