The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Achamian tries for a takedown but Ice sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ice darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Ice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Achamian.

and Ice counters with a three punch combo that has Achamian backing up. Achamian nods at Ice to acknowledge the strikes.
Baraka Ice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ice really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Achamian moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ice shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Achamian's guard.
Achamian wants to sweep here but Ice controlling him for the moment.
Achamian working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ice has passed into half guard!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
