The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Coletti!
Coletti regains half guard.
Coletti is trying is best to control the position here.
Coletti is staying active underneath Timmons, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coletti bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Timmons's guard.
Coletti drops back looking for a leg! Timmons is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Timmons manages to kick Coletti off! Coletti jumps back into Timmons's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Coletti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Coletti uses his free foot to push down on Timmons's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Timmons.
Timmons wants to control but Coletti is having none of it.

Let's hope that Coletti has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Coletti might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Coletti jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Timmons manages to avoid the submission attempt.
