PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rapido Nadadora (ranked 2699 p4p, 3168 weight class) and Dezmond Drake (ranked 301 p4p, 349 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rapido Nadadora has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rapido Nadadora seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nadadora pushes Drake up against the cage in a clinch.
Drake working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Drake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nadadora falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Drake counter with a right hand.
Nadadora gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Drake takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Drake scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nadadora takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Drake connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nadadora. Nadadora circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nadadora takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Drake lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nadadora throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Drake throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nadadora sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Drake jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nadadora looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nadadora scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Drake is rocked!

Nadadora uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Drake.
Drake scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab from Nadadora misses.
Nadadora misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nadadora throws a combination. Drake tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Drake is still on wobbly legs! Can Nadadora finish him?
Drake takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Nadadora counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
