Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Obama!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama looks to land a left hand but Upchurch moved out of range nicely.
Obama throws a combination that misses
and Upchurch counters with a right hand to the body.
Upchurch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Obama was well out of range. Poor timing from Upchurch.
Upchurch throws a hook to the side of Obama's head but Obama sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Obama throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Upchurch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at potato place in the buildup to the fight.

It looked like Upchurch wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Obama swings for the body but Upchurch moves out of range.
Upchurch doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Upchurch counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Upchurch throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Upchurch lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Obama goes down! The ref sends Upchurch to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Obama is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Upchurch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Obama doesn't seem bothered though.
Obama walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Upchurch rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Obama has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Tom Obama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Obama misses with a low kick.

and Upchurch counters with a nice uppercut that drops Obama onto his backside! Obama bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
Upchurch scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Obama swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Upchurch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Upchurch misses with a straight left.
Obama throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Obama counters with a good low kick that Upchurch was not able to check.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Upchurch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Obama takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Upchurch takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Tom Obama was lucky to get out of the first round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Upchurch.
Obama keeps Upchurch at a distance using the push kick.
Obama takes a swing at Upchurch's ribcage but misses.
Upchurch misses with an attempted mid kick.
Upchurch misses with a looping left.
Obama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Upchurch has time to react.
Upchurch throws a right and a left that Obama avoids nicely.
Obama connects with a nice looking jab.
Obama drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Upchurch onto his butt! Upchurch pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Obama connects with a quick right hand that sends Upchurch tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tom Obama!
