Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dallas Heatley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JIggabo Cane! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Heatley's half guard. Cane stops Heatley from getting back to his feet.
Cane works his way into full mount! Cane wants to take his opponent's back but Heatley doesn't allow it. Cane is still trying to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cane looking to secure an arm triangle but Heatley defends it well. Cane working for a submission but Heatley is keeping him at bay. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heatley stops Cane from taking his back.
