Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey LeBlanc (ranked 6395 p4p, 4200 weight class) and Rodney Lewis (ranked 622 p4p, 497 weight class). Mickey LeBlanc has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mickey LeBlanc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rodney Lewis! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis gets a clinch. LeBlanc stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lewis works on LeBlanc's body with a couple of short punches. LeBlanc has clasped his hands together around Lewis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. LeBlanc tries to advance to mount but Lewis denies him. LeBlanc will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. LeBlanc tries to stand but Lewis controls the position and pulls LeBlanc into his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LeBlanc trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis is controlling LeBlanc's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeBlanc engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. LeBlanc manages to get himself to full guard.
LeBlanc is trying to hold Lewis in close to prevent damage but Lewis has managed to pass into half guard.
Lewis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but LeBlanc does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. LeBlanc wants to get back to full guard but Lewis has passed into side control. Lewis controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lewis working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. LeBlanc wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lewis trying to control the action but LeBlanc is working from the bottom. LeBlanc is trying to control Lewis's posture but Lewis avoids it. Lewis advances to full mount. LeBlanc is just holding on here. Lewis manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LeBlanc rolls, trying to escape but Lewis keeps control of the position.

Lewis is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
LeBlanc is trying to stand back up. LeBlanc is trying to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lewis controls the position. LeBlanc is trying to defend against the choke here but Lewis has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Lewis Tightens the hold and LeBlanc taps out furiously! Lewis displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rodney Lewis! A relieved looking Rodney Lewis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
