Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Comblin (ranked 4036 p4p, 4155 weight class) and The Dude (ranked 495 p4p, 504 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Comblin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Dude! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dude rushes Comblin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Comblin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dude keeps control of Comblin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Comblin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Comblin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dude is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Comblin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dude's sensitive parts.
Dude moves into range and clinches up with Comblin. Dude leaning his opponent against the cage. Dude lands with a light punch inside.

 It looks like Lee Comblin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Comblin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dude manages to avoid it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Comblin. No joy for Dude on that attempt. Dude shoots in and drives through. Comblin sprawls well. It looked like Comblin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lee Comblin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Dude.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Comblin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dude is proving hard to escape from. Comblin preventing the sweep. Dude breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Comblin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dude's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Comblin goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Comblin connects with a leg kick. Dude has a takedown stuffed. Dude shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Comblin sprawls well. Comblin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dude gets slowly back to his feet.

Comblin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Comblin tries to work over Dude's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A frustrated look appears on Comblin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Comblin misses with the head strike.
The Dude seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Dude working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Dude is trying to break the clinch but Comblin has him pressed against the cage. Dude managing to block the knees to the body from Comblin.

Lee Comblin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dude has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Comblin finds it's way round the side to connect with Dude's head. Comblin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dude gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Comblin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dude shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dude is breathing heavily. Comblin lands a head kick!

Dude has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Comblin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Comblin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dude can do to turn this around? Dude is trying to drag Comblin to the mat but Comblin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dude is looking to take this one to the mat. Comblin wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dude throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Dude creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dude is trying to pull guard but Comblin has him pressed against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Dude - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Dude fails with a takedown attempt. Comblin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Comblin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Comblin's corner calls for a 1-2. Comblin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dude on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. No luck for Dude with that takedown attempt. Dude has a takedown stuffed. Comblin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dude. Dude shoots in but no luck this time. Lee Comblin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Dude. Comblin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Comblin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dude tries to stall but Comblin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Comblin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dude. Comblin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A nice combination there by Comblin.
Dude takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A nice inside leg kick there by Comblin. That's going to slow Dude down. No joy there for Comblin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

And that's the end of the fight! Lee Comblin showed his dominance in that final round. I think Comblin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
