Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diatomaceous Smiff (ranked 25399 p4p, 2551 weight class) and Oscar Baker (ranked 663 p4p, 342 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker keeps the fight on the outside.
Baker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Baker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Smiff moves to clinch but Baker breaks away
and Baker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Diatomaceous Smiff has been cut.
Smiff ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baker moves away.
Baker throws a hook to the side of Smiff's head but Smiff sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Smiff counters by clinching up.
Baker lands with a short shot to the head.
Smiff pulls Baker into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round but I would say that Diatomaceous Smiff will probably get the nod.

Diatomaceous Smiff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Baker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smiff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smiff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
