Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phyuck Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Ratliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yu comes into the arena with Jah Guide blaring out of the sound system. Theo Ratliff will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Theo Ratliff! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ratliff tries to get back to half guard but can't. Yu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ratliff is trying desperately to improve position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ratliff regains half guard. Ratliff looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ratliff missing with punches from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Yu seems content to control. Ratliff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ratliff has hold of Yu's hands but Yu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Yu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Yu working Ratliff over with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ratliff is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Yu slips a straight right by Ratliff. Yu looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ratliff pushes a forearm under Yu's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Yu is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
