Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Kant (ranked 3929 p4p, 5612 weight class) and Big Bob McClure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kant kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No Limits by 2Unlimited. Big Bob McClure told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McClure shoots in looking for a takedown. Kant tries to sprawl out of it but McClure keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McClure tries for a takedown but Kant circles away easily and Kant counters with a single leg into guard. McClure didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kant slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McClure should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kant is stalling in the full guard. McClure wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kant drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kant as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McClure screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kant! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Genghis Kant! Post fight, Genghis Kant took to the microphone: 'No... Death... Pound... Smash...'.
