Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Basicly Brucelee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scootie Karter! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brucelee. Karter changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brucelee. Brucelee appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brucelee. Karter misses the shot to the body. Brucelee feinted with a counter takedown. Brucelee looks to land a left hand but Karter moved out of range nicely. And Karter tries to counter it with a takedown but Brucelee pushes his down on his head and steps out. Karter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Karter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Karter works a leg free and moves into half guard. Brucelee tries to kick Karter off but Karter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Brucelee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karter on the ground. Karter is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! It looks like Karter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Scootie Karter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Karter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Konstantin Menshow scores the fight 9:10 Judge Aleksandr Martynov scores the fight 9:10 Judge Sergei Dronov scores the fight 9:10
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Scootie Karter!
