Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Karelin (ranked 153 p4p, 328 weight class) and Dwayne Haskins (ranked 28 p4p, 50 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ruslan Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Dwayne Haskins!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Haskins lands a nice looking body shot.
Karelin throws a looping overhand right but Haskins ducks down to avoid it.
Haskins looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Karelin misses with a takedown attempt - Haskins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Karelin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Karelin lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karelin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Haskins sprawls and moves away.
Karelin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Karelin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haskins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Haskins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Haskins pushes Karelin off looking to stand but Karelin dives back in and keeps control.

Karelin is looking for a kimura here.

Karelin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Haskins is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Karelin has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Haskins sneaks out the side door and pushes Karelin away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Haskins cracks Karelin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Haskins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Karelin was well out of range. Poor timing from Haskins.

Haskins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Karelin throws the kick towards the body but Haskins avoids it.
Karelin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Haskins as he jumps to the side.

Haskins connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Haskins's jab looks to have found its range, popping Karelin under the eye.

and Haskins counters with a nice right hand that sends Karelin toppling to the canvas! Karelin scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Haskins finish him?!

Haskins is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Haskins shuts the power down on Karelin. Lights out, game over! Haskins is your winner.
