And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Domenico Mazziotti!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazziotti blocks a leg kick.
Ahma throws a looping overhand right but Mazziotti ducks down to avoid it.
Ahma drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ahma shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mazziotti but Mazziotti pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ahma tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Mazziotti to counter with a crisp jab.
Ahma lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ahma drives through and clinches with Mazziotti against the cage.
Ahma has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mazziotti avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mazziotti has a couple of punches blocked by Ahma.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ahma breaks from the clinch.
Ahma takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mazziotti throws a hook but Ahma blocks it.
Ahma has closed the distance and engaged Mazziotti in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ahma.

Ahma is trying to maintain a safe position but Mazziotti gets an underhook and turns Ahma into the cage.
Mazziotti lands a body punch in the clinch.
Mazziotti tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ahma's elbow.
Mazziotti fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ahma breaks from the clinch.
Mazziotti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ahma is looking to clinch but Mazziotti is avoiding it.
Ahma throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mazziotti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ahma is rocked!
It looks like Verneri Ahma has been cut.
Oooooh!!! Mazziotti has knocked Ahma down with a huge combo! Mazziotti steps away and waves a wobbly Ahma back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Ahma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mazziotti lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ahma up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Mazziotti from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ahma's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Domenico Mazziotti!
After the fight, Domenico Mazziotti was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
