Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ali Star Bong (ranked 4932 p4p, 4962 weight class) and Bobby Spanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spanks is looking to chop away at Bong's legs.
Bong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Spanks counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Spanks dives in for a single leg takedown but Bong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Spanks tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bong lands a body punch.
Spanks is trying to push Bong away but Bong has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bong tries to land knees in the clinch but Spanks avoids the damage to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spanks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spanks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bong pulls Spanks in close to his closed guard and prevents Spanks from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bong is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Spanks presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Bong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spanks walks away with a smile on his face. Bong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bong tries to work over Spanks's front leg with a kick but Spanks checks it.
Bong gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Spanks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bong prevents it.

Bong is trying to break free.
Spanks is trying to drag Bong to the mat but Bong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Spanks tries to pull guard but Bong holds him up against the cage and eventually Spanks drops back down to his feet.
Spanks trying to stall but Bong improves his position.
Bong lands with a light punch inside.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bong leaves Spanks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bong clinches up with Spanks and pushes him back against the cage.
Bong lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Spanks keeps control of Bong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bong's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Spanks is trying to pull guard but Bong turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bong takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Bong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spanks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Spanks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spanks fails to land with a series of punches.
Bong instigates a clinch.
Bong is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Spanks is defending well for now.
Spanks wants to break free but Bong has control.

Spanks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bong has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Spanks is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Spanks is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bong's back!
