Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sovor Trandel (ranked 2360 p4p, 1973 weight class) and Hunter Acosta (ranked 315 p4p, 276 weight class). Trandel comes into the arena with Fuel and Fire - Bride blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hunter Acosta was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trandel.

and Trandel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Trandel looks to land a left hand but Acosta moved out of range nicely.

Acosta tries to keep at a distance but Trandel has taken the fight into the clinch.

Trandel makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Acosta struggles to land a body shot inside as Trandel controls his hands.

Trandel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Acosta breaks from the clinch.
Acosta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trandel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Trandel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Trandel swings for the body but Acosta moves out of range.

Trandel lands a big right hand that sends Acosta crashing to the mat! Trandel stays standing though and waves Acosta back to his feet!

Acosta is rocked!

It looks like Hunter Acosta has been cut.
Acosta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trandel.

Acosta backs away from a small jab... but Trandel lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Acosta crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Trandel with a spectacular finish!
