The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Aldo connects with a body shot.
Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch but Aldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aldo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reynolds 's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reynolds doesn't manage to clinch there - Aldo circles away.

Aldo darts in and clinches Reynolds up against the cage.

Aldo manages to break the clinch.
Aldo throws a sloppy head kick and Reynolds moves out of range easily.

Reynolds shoots in and bounces Aldo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reynolds loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aldo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Reynolds is looking to work some ground and pound but Aldo has wrist control.

Reynolds keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aldo's head.

Reynolds is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Reynolds throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Aldo keeping full guard, as Reynolds tries to pass.
Reynolds 's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A lazy left from Aldo finds it's target.
Good standup being displayed there by Aldo as he connects with a hook.
Reynolds throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aldo's waist but Aldo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reynolds off to one side.
Reynolds shoots in for a double leg but Aldo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aldo throws a big counter head kick but Reynolds avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Reynolds . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aldo fakes the leg kick and cracks Reynolds in the body.
Reynolds is breathing heavily.
Reynolds misses with a takedown attempt - Aldo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Aldo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aldo lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Reynolds crumples to the floor! Aldo milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
