Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Wiet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Wiet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Fitch! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiet showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fitch.
Wiet has Fitch up against the cage in a clinch.
Fitch scores with a shoulder strike. Wiet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Danga de danga de dang - Wiet scores with a four punch combination! Fitch tries to clinch up and Wiet counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wiet stopping the sweep attempt from Fitch. Fitch is working an open guard so Wiet takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wiet darts in and clinches Fitch up against the cage. Fitch is trying to break free. Fitch gets underhooks to prevent Wiet's takedown attempt.
Fitch lands a left hand.
Wiet breaks from the clinch.
Fitch tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wiet counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Fitch wants to clinch but Wiet slips to the side and Wiet counters by moving into the clinch. Fitch has had enough of the clinch but Wiet keeps him there for the moment. Wiet tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fitch is trying to break free. Wiet breaks from the clinch.
Fitch clinches but Wiet breaks the clinch and Wiet counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiet lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fitch tries to clinch there but Wiet circles away.
Fitch tries to clinch up and Wiet counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fitch's guard now. Fitch is working an open guard so Wiet takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fitch misses with a hook. Fitch tries to clinch up and Wiet moves into the clinch. Fitch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wiet circles away from the clinch attempt and Wiet counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fitch's guard now. This has been an exciting period of action! Wiet prevents Fitch from getting back to his feet. Wiet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wiet is fighting to break Fitch's control of his arms but Fitch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wiet tries to stand but Fitch is controlling from the bottom. Fitch wants to get back to his feet but Wiet is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fitch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fitch wants to stand and escape but Wiet is having none of it. Wiet is standing up over Fitch. Fitch looks to escape but Wiet dives into side control.
Fitch looks gassed! Wiet happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch wants to control but Wiet postures up. Fitch tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wiet easily slips into full mount! Wiet trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fitch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fitch is squirming around, avoiding Wiet's attempts to control the action. Fitch wants to hold on but Wiet pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fitch is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Wiet controlling the position easily from mount. Fitch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wiet sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Wiet dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wiet feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fitch keeping moving, preventing Wiet from controlling successfully. Fitch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fitch is trying to keep Wiet in close.
Wiet wants to stand but Fitch is controlling his posture from full guard. Fitch wants to stand and escape but Wiet is having none of it. Wiet postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch wants to stand up but Wiet is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fitch is breathing heavily. Wiet has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wiet throws a right hand that Fitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Fitch also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fitch closes the distance but Wiet moves to the side and Wiet counters with a head kick. Wiet gets the takedown into side control. Fitch is letting Wiet control him for a moment. Wiet working away. Fitch is trying to get back to his feet. Wiet happy to just control the position for now. Mike Wiet overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fitch is not content to let Wiet control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fitch is looking to get back to his feet here but Wiet is keeping cool and he's managed to take Fitch's back. Fitch is keeping busy.
Fitch is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Wiet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Fitch trying to get back to his feet but Wiet is in full control for now. Wiet avoiding Fitch 's attempts to control his hands. Wiet scores with punches to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wiet trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Fitch doesn't escape. Fitch looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Fitch is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiet plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Wiet closes the distance and clinches. Wiet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wiet closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fitch tries to clinch but Wiet moves away and Wiet counters with a shoot takedown. Fitch fights it but they end up in guard. Wiet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fitch working a defensive guard here.
Wiet trying to control but Fitch is working from the bottom. Wiet is really struggling to control Fitch but he's trying to hold on to the position. Fitch wants to get back to his feet but Wiet is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch controls Wiet momentarily but Wiet frees himself. Fitch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fitch is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Fitch wants to stand but Wiet is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fitch wants to clinch and Wiet holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wiet manages to break the clinch.
Wiet closes the distance and pushes Fitch back into the cage. Wiet tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Fitch darts in trying to clinch and Wiet counters by moving into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fitch connects with a knee to the head.
Fitch is looking to break free of the clinch but Wiet has double underhooks. Wiet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fitch takes a kick to the side of the head. Brandon Fitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wiet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wiet seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wiet wants to stand but Fitch has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Wiet throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fitch trying to control here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiet takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fitch is trying to stand back up but Wiet is controlling him
Fitch wants to control but Wiet is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wiet moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Wiet drives through and clinches with Fitch against the cage.
Brandon Fitch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fitch is trying to break free. Fitch wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wiet connects with a nasty looking knee right to Fitch's face.
Wiet ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wiet no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fitch tries to stand but Wiet is controlling from the bottom. Wiet has his feet on Fitch's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiet throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Wiet goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Wiet tries a head kick but it misses.
Fitch tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Wiet counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fitch is lucky that one didn't land flush. Mike Wiet is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A slapping leg kick lands for Wiet.
