This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 50 wins and 35 losses; David Morrison! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 9 losses; Alexey Andreev!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Morrison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andreev's waist but Andreev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morrison off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Morrison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

It looks like Andreev might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
