The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Torres shoots in for a takedown but Lavicci shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lavicci shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Torres sprawls well. Torres wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lavicci gets slowly back to his feet.

Torres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lavicci swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lavicci seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Torres does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Torres has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lavicci is working away from the top position though.

Lavicci drops back, looking for a kneebar! Torres looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Torres looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Torres!

Torres looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Torres has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lavicci is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Torres yanks on the arm and Lavicci is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Torres.
