Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Conte (ranked 5183 p4p, 5105 weight class) and Morello Hawthorne (ranked 113 p4p, 112 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugo Conte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Morello Hawthorne!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Conte.
Conte has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conte gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawthorne is trying to stand up here but Conte is controlling him well.
Conte stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hawthorne to get to his feet.
Conte tries to sprawl but Hawthorne drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Conte wants to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hawthorne stands up and beckons Conte to join him on the feet.
Conte closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hawthorne has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Conte is on him like a limpet, forcing Hawthorne back against the ropes.
And that's the end of the fight!
Morello Hawthorne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
