Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean-Claude Marceau (ranked 9 p4p, 12 weight class) and Oliver Lancaster (ranked 2 p4p, 3 weight class). Marceau comes into the arena with Feist - Tout Doucement blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Lancaster!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lancaster.
Marceau throws a sloppy body shot
letting Lancaster counter with a right hand.
Marceau throws an off balance right hand
and Lancaster counters with a straight right hand.
Marceau throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lancaster throws a body punch but Marceau moves out of range.
Marceau jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Marceau steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lancaster.
A little feinted left hand from Marceau on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Marceau moves away from the strike by Lancaster.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lancaster misses the shot to the body.
Marceau avoids the body shot from Lancaster.
Lancaster looks to land a left hand but Marceau moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lancaster misses with a body shot
letting Marceau counter with a right hand.
Marceau connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lancaster's hands.
Marceau throws a head kick but Lancaster moves out of range.
Marceau clinches up with Lancaster and pushes him back against the cage.
Lancaster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lancaster misses with a lunging right hand
and Marceau connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Marceau slips a jab from Lancaster.
Marceau misses with a shot to the body
and Lancaster moves into the clinch.
Lancaster working aggressively here.
Lancaster misses with some punches.
Lancaster lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Marceau tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lancaster swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marceau blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lancaster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marceau lands a two punch combo.
Lancaster throws a lazy uppercut
and Marceau scores with a counter punch that sends Lancaster to the canvas! Marceau smells blood - he's punishing Lancaster with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lancaster has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean-Claude Marceau!
