Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cedric De Boise (ranked 32 p4p, 31 weight class) and Beau Abner (ranked 5 p4p, 4 weight class). De Boise comes into the arena with Do Your Thing blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Cedric De Boise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beau Abner! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Boise punishes Abner's body with a nice straight punch. That kick from De Boise tenderised Abner's leg. Abner is trying to keep his angry face on. De Boise throws a body punch but Abner moves out of range. Abner moves forwards but De Boise connects with a nice, crisp jab. A low kick from Abner is predictable there and De Boise counters with a nice low kick that buckles Abner's knee momentarily. De Boise connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Beau Abner has been cut. De Boise throws a body kick that misses and Abner counters with a leg kick. De Boise connects with an inside leg kick. Abner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Boise. That did some damage! De Boise misses with a body shot
and Abner counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abner moves out of range as De Boise strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abner throws a leg kick that is checked and De Boise counters with a low kick, right behind Abner 's knee. De Boise throws a predictable looking body shot
and Abner counters with an outside leg kick.
Abner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and De Boise cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Abner lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. De Boise scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. De Boise ducks under a wild hook from Abner. Abner throws a leg kick which misses De Boise's front leg but catches the back leg as De Boise tries to avoid it. Abner throws a leg kick and De Boise counters with a straight right hand. The fighters circling - Abner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Boise gets off balance looking for a body kick and Abner counters with a straight right hand. Cedric De Boise seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Boise fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abner manages to avoid it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from De Boise. De Boise throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. De Boise lands with a thumping leg kick.
Abner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from De Boise. Abner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A decent looking body kick lands there for De Boise. Abner looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Boise uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Abner. De Boise lands a big uppercut and Abner crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Abner looks OK. De Boise waves Abner back to his feet! De Boise misses with a hook. Abner has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. De Boise scores with a hook to the body. Abner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. De Boise dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Abner. That did some damage! Abner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Boise. It looks like De Boise has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. De Boise closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abner misses with an uppercut
and De Boise counters with a stiff right hand. Abner throws a poor cross that misses
and De Boise counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Boise scores with a nice right hand.
A slow jab from Abner misses its intended target. De Boise throws a quick counter kick to the body but Abner avoids it. A shot to the body from Abner misses and De Boise counters with a crisp right hand that drops Abner! De Boise lets Abner back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Abner throws a poor cross that misses
and De Boise counters with a nice leg kick. De Boise misses with a body shot.
De Boise cracks Abner with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. De Boise has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Abner to stand back up!
Abner is rocked! Abner bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! De Boise comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Abner falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Abner was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cedric De Boise! A relieved looking Cedric De Boise thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
