The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fuhcka goes for a double leg but Petrov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Petrov continues to drive forward.

Petrov manages to break the clinch.
Fuhcka could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fuhcka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Petrov is fending him off so far but Fuhcka persists. Nope, Petrov circles away and we're back to standing.
Petrov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muh Fuhcka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fuhcka lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Fuhcka takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Petrov cracks Fuhcka with a big right hand but Fuhcka just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Fuhcka is looking to regain half guard here but Petrov keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Muh Fuhcka.
