Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Melamed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leandro Narloch!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melamed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Narloch.
Melamed throws a series of punches but Narloch moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Melamed.
Melamed defending well as Narloch loads up on a big left hand.
Melamed misses with a takedown attempt
and Narloch counters with a straight right hand.
Narloch looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A head kick misses from Melamed.
Melamed misses with a low kick.
Melamed goes for a double leg but Narloch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Narloch continues to drive forward.
A little jabbing left from Narloch on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Narloch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Melamed throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Narloch misses with a straight left.
Melamed tries a head kick but it misses.
Narloch lands a jab.
It looks like Jim Melamed has been cut.
Melamed swings for the body but Narloch moves out of range.
Narloch takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Leandro Narloch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Melamed darts in trying to clinch
enabling Narloch to counter with a crisp jab.
Jim Melamed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melamed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Narloch throws a jab but it's blocked by Melamed.
Melamed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circling - Narloch throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Melamed fails in his attempt to clinch.
Narloch cracks Melamed with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Narloch has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Melamed to stand back up!
Melamed is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Melamed misses with a takedown attempt
and Narloch counters with a right hand from hell and Melamed is out cold! A vicious knockout!
