Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Lyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kristoffer Rud! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rud misses with an uppercut. Lyle slips under a jab. Kristoffer Rud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lyle takes one to the side of the head.
Rud throws a poor cross that misses
and Lyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rud throws a lazy uppercut
and Lyle counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rud! Lyle lets Rud back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Rud is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lyle sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Rud's defenses. It connects perfectly with Rud's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robbie Lyle! After winning the bout, Robbie Lyle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
